The iCE is fitted with a cardioid condenser capsule and connects to the PC via a USB 2.0 A Male - B Male Cable. It has a rather bright red LED on the front to show it is connected to the PC.
It may not be the best usb microphone out on the market but for sub £30 it is not bad at all. My only gripe about it is the stand it is too small and unable to angle it to a position that is suitable, although that won't be a problem for long though as I will order up a mic arm for it.
My youngest daughter had a play around with it, she stood way to close to it but this should give you a rough idea of the quality of it.
Update: Thursday, 05 April 2018
I have purchased a cheap mic arm to go with this from Amazon:
It is a Neewer NB-35
I would not call it a professional (although the packaging does) mic arm by any means, but it will do for now.
